Refund policy

This page summarises how rescheduling, cancellations and refunds work at Paintsocial. It forms part of, and should be read alongside, our full Terms and Conditions.

RESCHEDULING YOUR BOOKING

          You can reschedule a public (ticketed) event booking free of charge, any time up to 2 weeks before your session start time.

          Once you're within 2 weeks of your event, bookings can no longer be rescheduled.

          When rescheduling, choose the next available session date, or we can credit the value towards a future booking.

CANCELLATIONS

          If you cancel — or don't reschedule before entering the 2-week window — your payment is forfeited.

          No-shows: if you don't attend a class you're booked into, the full amount is still charged. We can't refund, reschedule or credit a missed session.

PRIVATE FUNCTIONS

          More than 2 weeks before your session: we can reschedule to another mutually suitable date, once the full amount has been paid.

          Within 2 weeks of your session: we're unable to refund or reschedule and the full amount is forfeited.

DEPOSITS

          Deposits (including for private functions) are non-refundable and non-transferable, regardless of whether the event goes ahead.

IF WE CANCEL YOUR EVENT

          If Paintsocial cancels a public event, we'll notify you by email or text at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time.

          You'll be offered tickets to another session, a credit for future use, or a refund.

Where a Force Majeure event (including a Government-mandated closure) means a session can't go ahead, we're not responsible for any resulting loss or damage. As a gesture of goodwill, we'll still offer one of the options above.

REFUNDS ON IN-STUDIO PURCHASES

Refunds can't be given on-site. All refund requests are processed through our head office — email paintsocialnz@gmail.com and we'll take care of it.

YOUR STATUTORY RIGHTS

Nothing in this policy affects your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or other applicable New Zealand consumer law.
